I'm setting boundaries this session - no unnecessary stress. As a teacher, my workload should be manageable. However, yesterday's memo requiring teachers on weekly duty to stay until 4:30 pm was unacceptable.
I had committed to leaving by 3:30 pm, and I intend to stick to that. I'm not a babysitter, and it's not my responsibility to supervise students beyond school hours. Parents need to be punctual when picking up their children, and school management should consider imposing penalties on those who consistently fail to do so after 3:10 pm.๐คจ

Therefore, recognizing the Need for rest ,means that you have to constantly listen to your body. Acknowledge physical and mental exhaustion signs, Do well to set realistic goals and deadlines. Furthermore, prioritize self-care by scheduling breaks, exercise, and relaxation.

When you decide not to get some rest, you burnout. It comes with chronic exhaustion, decreased motivation, and reduced performance. You will get a decreased productivity and your physical and mental health is actually at a risk (chronic stress, anxiety, depression).
Therefore, prioritize rest for a better life. Recognize when to stop and rest as it is vital for maintaining physical and mental well-being. Listen, I can't stop emphasising on the need for one to prioritize self-care, set boundaries, and incorporate effective rest strategies, because it can help you optimize productivity, creativity, and overall quality of life.๐
